Chelsea Houska is doing what she can to make sure that her daughter, eight-year-old Aubree, is safe as her former boyfriend, Adam Lind, continues to struggle with legal drama and an alleged addiction to drugs.

According to a new report, the Teen Mom 2 star filed court documents against Lind shortly after it was revealed that he had been arrested twice after allegedly assaulting his former fiancée, Stasia Huber, numerous times.

“Adam is almost always gone while Aubree is there, so Aubree basically just spends time with Adam’s parents anyway,” a source told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup at the end of last week. “Chelsea would still allow Aubree to spend time with Adam’s parents, because they have been a part of Aubree’s life since she was born."

According to the insider, Houska wants to change the visitation schedule for her daughter so that she isn't forced to tend to a specific schedule with Lind's parents each month. As the source explained, the longtime reality star and mother of two isn't trying to take Aubree from her grandparents on her father's side. Instead, she doesn't want to be forced to transport the child to Lind's parent's home when he isn't even there.

In addition, Houska doesn't want Lind to be present when his parents are seeing Aubree and wants to have her former boyfriend attend visits only under court-supervision at a family visitation center. While Houska had looked into the possibility in the past, she always talked herself out of the idea until now.

“We exist to provide a place for safe, supervised visits and exchanges with the goal that children are emotionally, physically and mentally safe,” the Family Visitation Center’s website explained. “Families spend time together in private, child-friendly rooms, monitored by professional well-trained staff.”

The Ashley's Reality Roundup report revealed that Lind has not yet responded to his former girlfriend's court filing against him. Lind was arrested earlier this month after violating a no-contact order that had previously been filed by Huber.

Following the end of her relationship with Lind, Houska met and married Cole DeBoer and the couple shares one young son, Watson.
