Iggy Azalea and Nick Young had what could be considered one of the most awkward reunions when it comes to celebrity exes. The two called it quits roughly 18 months ago, and Azalea has reminded us all as to why.

A Chance Reunion Between Exes?

They crossed paths for the first time in months when Young, who now plays for the Golden State Warriors, was in Los Angeles to play his old team, the Lakers. He stopped by the city’s famous Craig’s restaurant Sunday night. What he probably didn’t know is that Azalea had already been inside for about 3 hours. Interestingly enough, she was seen coming out roughly 30 minutes after Young entered the restaurant. Young left the restaurant about an hour later.

Even though the two weren’t in Craig’s at the same time for too long, it was just enough time for rumors to spread that they were on a dinner date together.

While Young had all good vibes about his encounter with Azalea, she told a different story on Twitter. She called out a publication who made claims the two could be sparking up their romance again.

“I hope all your Christmas gifts contain boxes of dried up chips of dog s*** for trying to imply I would EVER, EVER have a dinner date with my ex who created a full human behind my back,” wrote Azalea in a tweet that has since been deleted.

She went on to say that considering they both happen to have ties to Los Angeles, it was only a matter of time before the two happened to be in the same place at the same time.

Nick Young Is All Smiles

As for Young, his response was a little friendlier. He said his advice for running into an ex would be to “send them a drink.” He added the perfect combination would be sangria and Hennessy because while it goes down easy, “you still get messed up over it.”

He also accused photographers and paparazzi of putting him in that position. He pointed out that one of the photographers told him it was a “family reunion” before he went inside the restaurant.

Azalea and Young were engaged when it came out that he had fathered a secret child with another woman. She revealed on social media that she broke up with him because it was nearly impossible to trust him after the news of the child.
