The Weeknd was spotted leaving a nightclub in Hollywood, California earlier this week and now fans are wondering if his potential reconciliation with Bella Hadid has been called off.

On Dec. 21, photos surfaced of the "Starboy" singer getting into an awaiting SUV after enjoying time with another woman, who was seen hopping into the vehicle along with him in Los Angeles. In the photos, The Weeknd was seen sporting a black bomber jacket and a black baseball hat as his potential love interest was seen in a tan sweater with her hair up in a bun.

Hollywood Life shared the images on Thursday and revealed that they were taken around the same time that Bella Hadid was seen hanging out in New York City with her older sister Gigi.

As the outlet revealed, the models were seen watching the New York Rangers take on the Anaheim Ducks at Madison Square Garden this week with their younger brother, 18-year-old Anwar, his girlfriend, Nicola Peltz, and Zayn Malik‘s mother.

The Weeknd dated Hadid for about two years until splitting at the end of last year. Then, just weeks later, he struck up a romance with Selena Gomez and went public with her in January of this year. However, the love between them didn't last and after The Weeknd and Gomez split in October, he turned up at Hadid's NYC apartment. Right away, rumors of a reunion began to swirl.

“She never fully got over Abel,” a source told Life & Style magazine, according to a report by Hollywood Life last month. “She’s willing to give things another shot and is telling friends that Abel has learned from his mistakes and that they’re meant to be together.”

The report went on to reveal that The Weeknd sent his former girlfriends tons of roses along with a hand-written note about how he never truly stopped loving her, despite his romance with Gomez.

Still, Hadid was said to be skeptical about The Weeknd's advances because it was so hard for her to get over him after their split.

“She was in a pretty dark place for months,” a source close to the model told the magazine. “Her family and friends absolutely blame The Weeknd for hurting her, even if she’s forgiven him. Her friends are worried about her hanging out with him again."
