After an impassioned speech at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, the world called for Oprah Winfrey to run for President in 2020.

Although it may have been a joke, which Seth Meyers might have started, the trend picked up rather quickly.

Well, the Queen of Media has finally put those notions to bed. In the March cover story for InStyle magazine, Winfrey stated that she always felt very secure and confident on what she could and could not do.

"And so it's not something that interests me. I don't have the DNA for it," Winfrey told the magazine.

Fans were really convinced that Winfrey would run when her longtime partner Steadman Graham fueled the rumors by telling the Los Angeles Times that the decision was up to the people but that she would absolutely do it.

However, her bestie, Gayle King, shut down the allegations on CBS This Morning. King explained that she also had people pestering her about whether Winfrey would run, but she knew she wouldn't do it.

Although the media mogul appreciated the encouragement towards a campaign, running for President isn't in the cards for her, but she did think mock-ups of an Oprah 2020 were "cute."

Just in case she needed a little more encouragement, an NPR poll found that if she were to run against President Donald Trump, a hypothetical match-up showed that she had a 50 to 39 percent chance of winning. Trump followed up with the reporters and stated that he was confident he would beat Winfrey. Let's see if this will inspire her to run.

This isn't the first time that the philanthropist has been pressured to run.

In an interview with CBS in 2017, Winfrey stated that there would be no running for office for her.

Winfrey Passes On Washington

Winfrey might not have her eyes set on Washington, but she does have them set on her many other endeavors.

As previously reported, the Queen of Media was the first black woman to receive the Cecil B. DeMile Award at the Golden Globes.

"I want all the girls watching here and now to know that a new day is on the horizon," Winfrey said.

Her speech will forever be remembered as the speech that gave everyone goosebumps, including celebrities. Keith Urban described the speech as more and exultation, while Eva Longoria was left speechless, literally!

In the meantime, fans can catch Winfrey in Disney's new film, A Wrinkle in Time. The film follows Meg Murry (Storm Reid) as she sets off to find her father who disappeared and was held captive in an alternate universe. Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling also join Winfrey in the adaption of the critically acclaimed novel.

A Wrinkle in Time hits theatres on March 9.
