In late January, Kim Kardashian announced that she would be launching her limited edition Kimoji Hearts Bae fragrances, which would be delivered just in time for Valentine's Day. Prior to the release, the beauty entrepreneur only used social media heavily to promote the perfumes.

The special thing about the Valentine's is that each of the fragrances arrive in a heart-shaped bottle labeled BFF, Ride Or Die, or Bae.

Fans anticipated the release because they thought the perfumes would arrive the exact same way Kim was promoting it. Celebrities such as Khloe Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, and Paris Hilton took to their social media to share videos of them breaking into the edible chocolate heart with an exclusive KKW Beauty hammer to find the limited edition Valentine's perfume inside.

While Kim stated that the gifts were press boxes, her followers didn't get the memo.

During her promotion, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also explained that her "haters" would also receive press boxes, Wendy Williams, Blac Chyna, and Taylor Swift were among the "haters" that would receive Kim's special gift.

After placing their orders, some people took to Twitter to accuse Kardashian of false advertisement and demanded refunds, because they were expecting their order to arrive inside a chocolate heart along with the hammer.

Kardashian immediately noticed the comments by claiming that upon receiving orders, buyers should note that the perfume will not be delivered with the heart and the hammer.

While Kim received backlash from some, other followers defended her stating that they should not expect much at a $30 price point

Despite the confusion the makeup mogul was still able to rake in $10 million in just four days.

Ride Or Die

In midst of the promotion spree, the mother of three still managed to send her longtime assistant, Stephanie Shepherd her Kimoji Hearts Fragrance.

Shepherd took to Instagram to thank Kim for the gift. Fans were happy to see that the two were still able to end their relationship on good terms.

When one follower stated that they guess both Shepherd and Kardashian aren't beefing anymore, Shepherd replied that they never were.

As previously reported, Kim decided to fire Shepherd because she felt that she was getting too close to her family, however, it seems as though the two have managed to stay friends.
