Kylie Jenner is shunning the spotlight a week after daughter Stormi's birth. Instead, her wax figure hits the streets of Los Angeles with stroller in tow.
Shopping Trip In West Hollywood
Madame Tussauds Hollywood is celebrating the 20-year-old's new mom role by taking her famous wax figure outside on Thursday, Feb. 8. The wax museum released several photos of Jenner's life-like wax statue shopping at the well-known baby boutique store Eggy.
Jenner's $350,000 wax figure is dressed appropriately for a shopping excursion in black sweatshirt and sweatpants. It's a far cry from the statue's original outfit: a lavish beaded Balmain ensemble, which is the actual gown Jenner wore to the Met Ball in 2016.
Fans who spotted the reality star's wax figure out and about were happy to take photos with the new mother.
Keeping Stormi Private
The wax figure might be the closest the public gets of Jenner for now. Although the Keeping Up with the Kardashians starlet grew up with cameras around, insiders say she is determined to keep her new life with Stormi under wraps.
"She is extremely protective and she is very focused on trying to keep motherhood private for right now," a source tells Us Weekly. "She used to love being in the limelight, but that has totally changed. All Kylie wants is for her privacy to be protected right now and is pretty demanding about that at this time."
The decision is in line with Jenner's choice to keep her pregnancy under lock and key as well. She didn't speak up until after the birth of her first child with boyfriend, Travis Scott.
As she told her fans on an Instagram post last Sunday, the makeup mogul wanted to keep her pregnancy positive and entirely stress-free to ensure a happy and healthy baby.
The full name of the newborn was revealed a few days ago as Stormi Webster. Webster is Scott's real last name.
Life As A Mom
For now, Jenner is keeping busy taking care of little Stormi with the help of her family and Scott. Kris and the rest of the Kardashian clan are assisting the new mom who is making sure her baby has the very best of everything — starting with her nursery.
According to TMZ, Jenner has filled Stormi's baby room with organic, eco-friendly, and sustainable products. Everything is toxic-free, chemical-free, and sustainable from the paint, baby toys, and furniture.
