Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez appear to be starting their Valentine's Day festivities early. How is the reconciled couple celebrating the holiday?

Four months into their reunion, Bieber and Gomez seem to be happy and going strong and over the weekend, they were caught enjoying some time together by a pool at The Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach, Calif.

On Feb. 11, TMZ shared video footage of the couple at the hotel, revealing that they had been sitting beside one another on a couple of lounge chairs before getting up and taking a stroll. The outlet also said that because of certain career responsibilities, Bieber and Gomez may not be together when Valentine's Day takes place on Wednesday.

According to the report, Gomez is expected to be in New York City on Tuesday to attend Coach's New York Fashion Week presentation. So, when Bieber and Gomez were seen driving near LAX on Saturday, many believed they were headed to the east coast together. Then, they turned up in Orange County.

Bieber and Gomez's outing in Laguna Beach comes just weeks after Gomez reportedly sought treatment in rehab for issues surrounding her mental health.

“It’s about physical, mental wellness and clean eating. She was there for about two weeks but she was also in the city doing work,” a source told Us Weekly magazine earlier this month. “She feels great.”

Gomez has been open with her struggles with depression and anxiety and been to rehab at least a couple of times in the past. So, when it comes to her future, she is making a conscious effort to stay proactive about her mental health and make sure that she doesn't let her illnesses take over.

“She doesn’t want to slip back to where she was ever,” the source added. “She always wants to be proactive.”

Before Bieber and Gomez arrived in Laguna Beach, a source told Hollywood Life that Bieber was reportedly hoping to take Gomez away for at least a few days to somewhere outside of Los Angeles. As the insider explained, Bieber was well-aware of Gomez's busy schedule in the coming weeks but didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to treat her to a romantic vacation in honor of the Valentine's Day holiday.
