Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly ready to call it quits with Los Angeles and head to the Midwest for a more serene and less superficial lifestyle.

According to a new report, Stefani and Shelton want to move away from the west coast because they are over its "fakery" and hoping to raise her three sons, 11-year-old Kingston, eight-year-old Zuma, and three-year-old Apollo, in a much different environment.

News of Stefani and Shelton's move comes on the heels of a report that suggested Stefani recently suffered from a miscarriage, which immediately put her plans for a wedding on hold.

“It was very hard for her,” a source close to Stefani revealed to Radar Online on Feb. 20. “Especially since she and Blake tried to have a baby for at least a year-and-a-half!”

Although Shelton is reportedly okay with not welcoming any children of his own, Stefani is said to be determined to give him a baby. So, when she allegedly suffered from a miscarriage weeks ago, she was reportedly gutted by the loss. She's also reportedly so disappointed with the ordeal that she doesn't want to pursue other options, including surrogacy.

“They’re not even discussing surrogates anymore,” an insider said. “They’ve even put all their marriage plans on hold.”

As for their reportedly upcoming move, the Radar Online source suggested that it would be a smooth transition for Stefani, who has spent lots of time in Oklahoma in the years since her romance with Shelton began and is loved by Shelton's inner circle.

“Blake’s got his whole extended family in Tishomingo, who have taken to Gwen like she’s their own flesh and blood,“ the insider continued. “They have commitments in Los Angeles and will always need a base there, but the decision’s been made to phase in a move to the Midwest very soon, which will see it become their family’s primary base.”

Included in the couple's commitments is Shelton's full-time role on The Voice, which he's been starring on since the show's start.

Although Stefani will not be seen on the series' upcoming 14th season, which premieres next Monday night on NBC, Shelton is reprising his role alongside Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, and new coach Kelly Clarkson.
