Kristen Doute Wants To Get Involved With The Tom Tom Restaurant

Kristen Doute has been out of the restaurant business for some time, despite starring on a series based out of one of Los Angeles' most popular spots.

As fans will recall, Doute was booted from her waitressing gig at SUR Restaurant during Vanderpump Rules season 3 due to her bad treatment of the staff, specifically manager Diana. Now, years later, as Lisa Vanderpump prepares to open her latest project, Tom Tom Restaurant, with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, she's looking back on her time with Vanderpump and her future in the restaurant industry.

“When Lisa fired me, I probably should've quit,” Doute admitted to Entertainment Tonight on Feb. 19. “But I think that helped our relationship. I mean, I'm never gonna not be at SUR. It's my favorite restaurant in L.A. I'm always going to eat there, I'm always going to frequent there. I think I'll be buried beneath the floors there one day."

Since leaving SUR Restaurant, Doute has been hard at work on her new vegetarian lifestyle blog, Vegiholic, and as she continues to share all things food with her followers, she hopes her venture back into food will soon give her and Vanderpump something to bond over.

During production on Vanderpump Rules, Bravo TV allowed Doute to showcase her new hobby during a party at her home. Even Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix came to visit, and during the bash, Doute did her best to convince her costars that her new blog is something she takes very seriously. She also posed the possibility of helping out at Tom Tom.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Tom Tom Restaurant is expected to be open by this time next year.

While Doute would love to be involved with Tom Tom Restaurant in some way, she acknowledged that she will first have to get Vanderpump on board. Then she would have to convince her former boyfriend, Sandoval, that her involvement would be a good idea.

For the past two seasons, Doute has been involved in a romance with Brian Carter, but before that, she was dating James Kennedy. As fans have seen during season 6, Kennedy is currently in the midst of a gay scandal.
