While fans didn’t get to know Gucci Mane’s now-wife Keyshia Ka’oir until he ended his longtime jail sentence last year, she has made it clear she’s been popping long before the rapper introduced them to her.

She broke down how she’s a multi-millionaire and has her own funds despite tying the knot with Gucci.

Keyshia Ka'oir's Been Securing The Bag For Years

Ka'oir opened up about her own fortune with The Cut and revealed she’s worth $30 million. While she owns multiple businesses now, she has been on her grind since she launched her lipstick line that featured unique colors like blue and green.

She started that line after she realized she wanted to wear blue lipstick to match her blue shoes before she went out for a night on the town back in 2009. She said she simply put blue eyeshadow with her lip gloss and made her own color.

While she wasn’t famous then, she received lots of attention for it in the media. She now sells lipstick for $17.99 a tube.

She revealed her first million came just six months after. She then kicked off another business, a fitness line a couple of years later.

How She Maintains Her Millionaire Status

“My companies are super successful and I shared some ways with you of how to keep it that way, because I don’t have any overhead expenses,” said Ka’oir. “I don’t have any debt. I bought my house in cash so I don’t have a mortgage. I bought my car with cash.”

She went on to say she’s learned from other celebrities on how not to lose her millions. She also made it clear her success came before she was introduced to Gucci.

“I’m not a trophy wife, and I don’t ever want to be classified as that,” said Ka’oir. “I almost feel worthless if I don’t have a new product coming out or something new to do. So no, the answer is no. Gucci’s wife? Laying home? Never. I would die. I want to see other women be as independent and make as much money as their husbands these days. It’s easy.”

Ka’oir and Gucci tied the knot in a star-studded event back in October. She commended the rapper for his unending support in her endeavors. She said Gucci isn’t intimidated by her millionaire status and is proud to have a woman who has her own.
