Who would've thought that four years ago, technology would evolve so vastly and become our way of life? Now imagine if you were stuck in a retro video game and had to become accustomed to things like Wi-Fi or Amazon.

In the sequel to the smash hit Disney animated film, Wreck It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks The Internet addresses everything going on in the technology world today while taking everyone's favorite villain, Ralph, on another wacky adventure.

Ralph Breaks The Internet

In the first film, Ralph, who was the main villain for the game "Wreck it Ralph" struggled with his role as the game's villain and longed for a better life. The animated character left his game and "went turbo" to bring back a medal so he could be accepted amongst the other characters in his game.

Along the way, Ralph made a friend, Venolope Von Sweets, who was deemed a glitch in her game candy crush but later turned out to be a princess.

Now, in the upcoming animated sequel, Venelope and Ralph must fix Sugar Rush after a Wi-Fi router is plugged into their vintage arcade. The two pals will get a dose of reality when they encounter click baits, memes, auctions on eBay, and those annoying apps that never go away.

The official synopsis for the upcoming family film states: "Taking place six years after the events of the first film, the story will center on Ralph's adventures in the Internet data space when a Wi-Fi router gets plugged into the arcade as he must find a replacement part to fix Sugar Rush. Along the way, Ralph and his best friend Vanellope von Schweetz encounter new customs, worlds, and characters, such as the trendy algorithm Yesss and the Disney Princess lineup".

John C. Reily and Sarah Silverman are returning to lend their voice talents to the characters, Ralph and Venelope, respectively. Jane Lynch will once again play the tough and no-nonsense Seargent Calhoun and Jack McBrayer reprises his role as Calhoun's new lover and the hero of Wreck it Ralph, Fix-it Felix.

In addition, Ralph Breaks the Internet will add some favored Disney Princesses to the film, which includes Ariel, Tiana, Mulan, Pocahontas, and Moana.

Ralph Breaks the Internet hits theaters Nov. 21, 2018.
