Kendall Jenner and her rumored boyfriend, Detroit Pistons player Blake Griffin, may not be Hollywood's next "It" couple after all.

Following about six months of outings in Los Angeles and New York City, Griffin was traded to the Pistons from the Los Angeles Clippers, and nearly immediately, rumors began swirling in regard to the couple's potentially impending split.

"Kendall and Blake talk and she has been to Detroit to see him, but the distance is a major factor," an insider told E! News on Feb. 28.

The source said that as Griffin adjusts to his new life in Detroit, Jenner has been taking a break from her hectic modeling career and focusing her time and energy on relaxing in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, her relationship with Griffin has reportedly been cooling off as his NBA season continues.

According to E! News' report, a source previously said that Jenner and Griffin were "never serious."

"They were hanging out but both knew that it wasn't going to be a long-term exclusive relationship," the source explained at the time. "They are still in contact and hangout here and there when they are both in town because they truly have a lot of fun together. Kendall always says that Blake makes her laugh and that's why she loves being around him."

A second report revealed that while Jenner and Griffin still have feelings for each other, their relationship is fizzling.

“Things have cooled down but they are going to keep things alive until Blake gets to the off-season and will see if it is worth saving,” an insider told Hollywood Life on Feb. 28.

As the insider explained, Jenner and Griffin will reportedly attempt to make their long-distance relationship work, but they haven't figured out how to do so quite yet.

Before being spotted with Griffin, Jenner was linked to rapper ASAP Rocky and Los Angeles Lakers player Jordan Clarkson. However, she never actually went public with either man and has yet to say a thing about the nature of her relationship with Griffin.

For years, Jenner has done her best to keep all of her rumored romances to herself.
