Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly interested in reuniting with one of her longtime loves, fellow actor and ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, according to UK-based Metro.

Despite their split in 2014, the pair has established a strong friendship and even filmed two more X-Men films, X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016 and the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix, together.

The rumors started circulating when the pair reconnected with each other in the United Kingdom where Lawrence was doing the international segment of her press tour for her latest movie, Red Sparrow. Several insiders close to the actors spilled that the duo was being very cautious with their relationship.

"They spent an awful lot of time together but are taking things slowly," said a source to The Sun's Sunday paper, according to Metro.

Rumors, Crushes, And Break-Ups

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult's romance rumor is the latest bit of gossip that surrounds The Hunger Games franchise star's love life. Lawrence admitted on the March 1 episode of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she loved the romantic rumors surrounding her and one of Hollywood's favorite leading men, Brad Pitt. She stated to the media personality that sadly the stories of a romantic relationship between her and the Ocean's Eleven franchise star were fake.

Lawrence also admitted that she developed a crush on Oscar-nominated actor Timothee Chalamet. She revealed this surprising news to Entertainment Tonight about the 22-year-old Call Me By Your Name star who is five years younger than her.

"Timothee, I'm waiting for him to get a little bit older, you know? [I'm] buttering up like a pig for slaughter, and then I'm going to swing right in there as soon as he's, like, 30," said Lawrence teasingly to Entertainment Tonight.

One person that Jennifer Lawrence is not waiting around for is ex-lover and Mother! collaborator Darren Aronofsky. The duo apparently broke up near the end of 2017, but they decided to remain friends. Their last public appearance together as a couple was at the 2017 Governors Awards.

No Retirement Talk

Jennifer Lawrence made headlines earlier this year when she decided to take a one-year break from acting. However, a representative stated that she is not retiring from acting but is waiting on one of her eight films in the pre-development stage to move forward. The projects include an upcoming comedy movie with longtime friend Amy Schumer, a war drama called It's What I Do that will be directed by Steven Spielberg, and Adam McKay's Bad Blood.
