Is Kendall Jenner Quitting 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians?'

Kendall Jenner has reportedly informed her mother and manager Kris Jenner that she is done with reality television for good.

According to a new report, the 22-year-old model is quitting Keeping Up With the Kardashians and wants the E! Network cameras to stop filming with her as soon as possible.

“If Kris had her way the whole family would be filmed 24/7, but she respects they need privacy and has gone easy on Kendall since her modeling career took off,” an insider told Radar Online on March 26.

The majority of the Kardashian-Jenner kids rely on their roles in Keeping Up With the Kardashians and their social media presence to generate business for their many projects. However, Kendall has seen plenty of success of the show and continues to hit runways around the world for top designers.

Kendall Jenner Wants To Be In Charge Of Her Image

As the insider explained, Jenner no longer wants to appear on her family's show because it doesn't give her power over the image she's putting out. Understandably, Jenner wants to have a say when it comes to her image and has been "winding down" her role on the show.

Radar Online's source also said Jenner has been exploring other options aside from modeling, including potential new gigs in television that don't involve "reality."

Kendall Jenner Want To Be 'Phased Out' Of KUWTK

A source told the same publication months ago that the model was hoping to be "phased out" of Keeping Up With the Kardashians "as soon as possible,” which shouldn't be too hard for her production team. After all, Kendall hasn't been appearing on the show as much as she used to due to her many modeling commitments around the globe.

At the time of the second report, the insider said that while Jenner has seen tons of success modeling both in ads and on the runway, she feels insecure about her persona and knows that people look at her and laugh due to her highly-publicized family.

“Kendall adores her family but figures it’s death by association, if she’s not careful,” the source explained.

The insider went on to reveal that in addition to leaving Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Jenner also wants to move out of Los Angeles and split her time between New York City and Paris, France.
