New York Knicks player Amar'e Stoudemire and his wife, Alexis Stoudemire, had the official reception for their December wedding on June 29.

The couple held a lavish wedding in Miami at the Vizcaya Museum, six months after they were legally married, so they could celebrate with extended family and friends.

According to Us Weekly, Alexis wore a J'Anton gown to the wedding and a dress by Oscar de la Renta for the reception. She was joined by six bridesmaids at the nuptials.

Ama're wore a wedding suit by Calvin Klein Collection and was flanked by 11 groomsmen. He changed into a suit by Lanvin for the reception, according to the report.

The couple's wedding guests, who stayed at the Fountainebleau Hotel, included Stoudemire's teammate, Carmelo Anthony and his wife, Lala Anthony; fellow Knick teammateTyson Chandler; billionaire Spanx creator Sarah Blakely and her husband, Jessie Itzler. The guests witnessed the couple say their "I do's.". Essence.com reported that music producers Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, along with his wife, Alicia Keys, attended the event. 

An onlooker described the ceremony to Us Weekly as "beautiful" and shared detalis about the event. 

"There wasn't a dry eye in the place," said the source, who added that the location was an "amazing venue. "This is fairy tale amazing down to every last detail."

The couple's four children--Assata, 4; Are, 7; Amare, 6; and a newborn boy, Alijah,-- were all in attendence at the wedding party. When their fourth child was born on May 22, Amar'e shared the news on Twitter.

"We are proud to announce we added a healthy baby boy to the Stoudemire team," he tweeted. "Alexis and the baby are doing great. #Blessed."

The couple first met in 2002 and Amar'e proposed to Alexis in Paris on June, 2012 with a 8.5 carat diamond ring.

They became legally married in a secret ceremony with 12 guests on Dec 12, 2012.

On the day of the weeding, the NBA player wrote on Twitter that the date "12.12.12 now has a special & spiritual meaning" for the couple.
