Peter Facinelli Files for Divorce from Jennie Garth

Peter Facinelli filed for divorce from Jennie Garth on Wednesday after a marriage of nearly 11 years.

In a Los Angeles Superior Court filing, Facinelli cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

He is seeking joint custody of their three daughters, Luca, 14; Lola, 9; and Fiona, 5.

Garth also made a simultaneous request to have her last name legally changed from Facinelli to Garth.

The couple announced earlier this month they planned to break up.
