As the launch of Apple's iPhone 5s draws closer and closer, the brunt of the attention has been focused on its low budget phone option, which is being called the iPhone 6 by many of the company's enthusiasts.

TechDy Blog recently dished extensively on the affordable version of the smartphone, and also posted some photos of it.

The respective device is said to be similar to the standard iPhone, equipped with a 4" screen. Interesting to note, the affordable iPhone will be most likely have a resemblance in shape to the tech company's iPod.

"From the front, the budget iPhone looks almost identical to the iPhone 5. But if you look closer, the front glass of the budget iPhone sticks out a little. And the main differences are most obvious on the rear," stated the site.

In terms of its software, the low-cost iPhone will be using Apple's next generation mobile-operating system, which is the iOS 7. The iOS 7 is slated to be rolled out by the company at the same time the iPhone 5S and budget-friendly device will be launched.

The blog mentioned that the phone should more than likely be released between the months of August and September of this year. Although several tech sites have put out conflicting release dates, they do seem to concur that the iPhone will come with the iOS 7 operating system.
