Selena Gomez announced her return to Instagram today with two simples words, "I'm back."

The 20-yea-old actress and singer took a hiatus from the social media site, but brought joy to her millions of fans by reactivating her account today. The Instagram page doesn't showcase a profile picture, just the singer's name and a link to her website: selenagomez.com. Despite the mysterious nature of the account, Gomez did confirm her return to Instagram via her Twitter page

The first post on the newly activated account is a video which features Gomez, along with several dancers, executing choreography. At the end of the video, Gomez and a group of her fans shout, "stars dance," alluding to her new album, which will hit stores on July 23.

It's unknown whether the choreography performed in the short video will be featured in a music video for a song from Stars Dance or will be performed on the tour to promote the record. Gomez's Stars Dance tour will begin in Vancouver, Canada on Aug. 14. There was also a hashtag that accompanied the caption to the video, which read "#STARSDANCE."

Several of Gomez's followers expressed utter glee to learn that Justin Bieber's on-again off-again girlfriend has returned to the photo-sharing social media site.

"Omg you're back!! *crying* i love so much, u have inspired me in so many ways," wrote user hanna3223. "I love your music and movies! Keep doing what u do best! And i'm in love with love will remember! Best song ever. #respect @selenagomez."

On July 4th the singer released a snippet of the title track from Stars Dance. The Spring Breakers actress collaborated with producers Rock Mafia on the EDM-influenced single.
