Behati Prinsloo can't stop gushing following her proposal from Maroon 5's lead singer Adam Levine.

On Thursday morning, while making press rounds for Victoria Secret, she talked to ET Canada about her proposal, giving details about how it happened.

"It was a one-knee thing! It was serious. It was very old school!" she said.

The Namibian VS angel added that the huge diamond ring is "perfect," and she's still in complete shock that she's now engaged. "I am so happy and excited and still can't believe it's true!" she said.

When asked about wedding plans, the 24-year-old model talked about how they're "just celebrating with our friends and family at the moment."

And she's doing just that. Prinsloo was seen out for the first time wearing her ring on Wednesday night, according to UK's Daily Mail. While outside the Mercer Kitchen in the SoHo area in NY, Prinsloo was seen smoking a cigarette while laughing and showing off her ring with friends. (See her engagement ring.)

News broke on Tuesday that the couple were engaged when a rep told People , "Adam Levine and his girlfriend Behati Prinsloo are excited to announce they are engaged to be married...The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles."

The 34-year-old Voice judge tweeted, "Love is my religion."

The couple first started dating in May 2012 before quietly splitting this past spring. Levine rebounded with Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal but eventually found his way back Prinsloo.

A source told E! News, "Nina is doing fine... But it's hard to believe he went from not wanting to get married at all to a straight-up proposal."

Levine proposed this past weekend.
