Jef Holm wants a second chance at love. Holm, who was formerly engaged to Bachelorette Emily Maynard before the pair split in 2012, is vying for his shot to star on the hit ABC Show, The Bachelor.

Over the weekend, Holm and host Chris Harrison were spotted looking "like old pals" out on June 24th at AV Nightclub in Los Angeles a source confirmed to Life & Style.

"They stayed for a couple hours drinking beer and listening to a performance by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. They left a little before closing time. Maybe Jef was trying to get it out of his system, because he was definitely being a flirt," the source said.

A source told EnStars that Holm has been trying to snag the coveted starring role for a while.

"After The Bachelorette aired, Jef always left the door open to come back to the show -- even before he and Emily split," the source said. "He'll do anything to be cast at this point before people start forgetting about him."

According to reports, ABC is currently eyeing both Juan Pablo and Holm as the next Bachelor.

Earlier this month, sources told Life & Style that Holm was hoping for a second shot at love.

“Jef has been in talks with ABC about being the next Bachelor,” a source close to the 28-year-old revealed.. “He loves fame, so it’s no surprise he’d be open to the opportunity. He also really knows how to turn on the charm!”

“Viewers remember him and were really invested in his relationship with Emily,” the source explained. "She would not be happy about him getting this second shot and it could make for good drama.”
