Former 7th Heaven star Mackenzie Rosman stripped down to skimpy lingerie in a sexy pictorial for the September issue of Maxim.

"It must be Christmas, because we are delivering another brand new shoot with 7th Heaven's @Mack_Smack!" the mag tweeted.

Rosman, who played little Ruthie on the hit show, is no longer just a child star, but a sexy young woman with curves to flaunt.

Wearing a pair of pink lace bra and panties, Rosman, 23, flashed a smile as she posed for the cameras. In another shot, she was lying on her back in the same garments but with a plaid shirt wrapped around her waist while wearing a pair of sneakers.

When asked if people will "be surprised" to see her in such a provocative state, the former child star said, "They might be. But you know what? It's who I am."

Rosman's former costar Jessica Biel posed semi-nude for the cover of Gear magazine in 2000, which created a lot of buzz -- both in Hollywood and on set of the show.

"I was probably nine at the time, but I remember that. It was a big deal," Rosman told the magazine. "The magazine was banned on set, I think by orders of Aaron Spelling. I sneaked a peek at it, though. It was racy gossip amongst the women of 7th Heaven!"

Rosman told Maxim she "looked up to Jessie a lot. She and I connected; we were just more alike than the others."

Rosman is currently starring in the film Beneath and will appear in the TV movie Ghost Shark, premiering on SyFy Aug. 22.
