According to a report published by The New York Times, as reported by Variety, the UFC commentator's deal with the streaming platform is a whopping $200 million.

Per anonymous insiders who spoke to the outlet, the actual value behind the deal was at least $200 million, but there's a possibility that he's earning more than that.

In early reports, the initial deal between Rogan and the company, which spans over three and a half years, was $100 million.

At the time of this writing, Spotify has not publicly commented on the matter.

Over the past few weeks, the martial arts expert has been facing many controversies from Spotify users and artists.

One of his issues was using a racial slur in the previous episodes of his podcast. He was also accused of spreading misinformation about COVID-19.

After the racial slur incident, Rogan took to Instagram to offer an apology, saying it's "the most regretful and shameful thing" he ever had to talk about publicly.

Spotify CEO has commented on Rogan's controversies through a statement, saying he's deeply sorry for how the podcast affected his employees.

He also noted that silencing the podcaster is not the answer as "canceling voices is a slippery slope."

The platform has removed over 70 episodes of "The Joe Rogan Experience."
