Krysten Ritter, 30 received mixed reviews about her performance as Chloe in ABC's new sitcom "Don't trust the B--- in Apartment 23."

The 30-year-old actress stars alongside Dreama Walker and James Van Der Beek (Dawson's Creek).

"Krysten Ritter deserves the chance to play a character rather than a caricature — and I also think that deepening Chloe would make the entire show feel richer and less shallow," TV critic Hillary Busis wrote for Entertainment Weekly today.

But TV Guide's critic Matt Roush calls Ritter "fabulous" and promises that as the episodes go on her character "demonstrates a self-made survivor's spirit, if not a heart."

"Ritter's Chloe is the big draw here, unapologetic in her dismissal of those who can't put up or shut up. She is a modern-day, eye-rolling, punch-line-nailing Holly Golightly, down to the bangs and the admiring male friend," wrote Mary McNamara for the LA Times.

The show totaled 7 million viewers last night and a 2.9 18-49 rating.
