Last night on American Idol, front runner Jessica Sanchez would have gone home if judges had not used their one save vote to keep her in the competition.

Sanchez' fellow contestants were in disbelief when she was announced the singer with the lowest number of votes. Judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson were astonished and rushed into the stage to hug her and redeem her.

"We are saving Jessica without any doubt," Jackson said firmly acknowledging her as one of the "best singers in America ever."
