Amber Heard lost another "expected supporter" amid the defamation trial with Johnny Depp.

Several Hollywood celebrities have since broken their silence over the Depp-Heard case in the past weeks. Some even voiced their opinions years ago when they defended the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor against Heard's damaging The Washington Post op-ed.

But Jason Momoa, Heard's co-star in "Aquaman," made a shocking move and seemingly decided to stand by Depp despite their ongoing project.

As noted by Marca, fans noticed that the Pride of Gypsies recently followed a number of celebrities on Instagram. To everyone's surprise, the list included the 58-year-old actor.

Buzzes suggested that Momoa started following the "Fantastic Beasts" star on Instagram after the defamation trial started.

The DC actor has not commented on the recent development yet or provided a reason as to why he followed Depp. However, GameRant also noted that there is another theory suggesting that Momoa only followed Heard's ex-husband as part of his PR team's plan and advice.

It is worth noting that he has been following Heard for years. By following Depp, it might also imply his neutrality over the damaging case.

Remove Amber Heard From "Aquaman 2" Goes Viral Again

Following the emergence of the reports about Momoa following Depp, the petition to remove Heard from "Aquaman 2" saw a surge of support once again.

On Change.org, the petition "Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2" nears 2 million signatures as of press time. The creator, Jeanne Larson, addressed it to the SVP of Publicity and Communications for DC Warner Bros Courtney Simmons and DC Entertainment.

"Men are victims of domestic abuse, just like women. This must be recognized, and action must be taken to prevent a known abuser from being celebrated within the entertainment industry. Do the right thing. Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2," the petition states.

The petition started as early as 2019, and several stars have also shared the page with their followers, as well, including McKenzie Westmore.

Aside from the "Aquaman" franchise, fans also aim to make L'Oreal drop her as its spokesperson. With that, hashtags like #AmberHeardIsAnAbuser and #JusticeForJohnnyDepp continuously trend in the past weeks.

Depp's supporters think that Heard also deserves to lose everything she has after causing Depp financial and career struggles.

Warner Bros. is yet to address the matter.
