Florence and the Machine just released a new album, and we are HERE for it.

Florence and the Machine has been an iconic staple in the music world for years. From sensational hits like "Dog Days are Over" and "Shake it Out," fans have been hungry to hear more songs from frontwoman and ethereal bog witch Florence Welch.

Today, the band came through: They officially dropped their newest album. Titled Dance Fever, it is filled with the rich meaning and powerful purpose that the artist is well known for.

In an exclusive with Spotify, Florence herself explained:

"There is a kind of character on this record which is the character of the song iteslf, and I'm speaking to it all throughout, and I think it speaks as well, but it's sort of...in a monster voice. But then the fable of it is you're questioning your relationship to this performance creature, so it abandons you.

And then the rest of the record is kind of...begging for it to take you back. So, the whole thing is this sort of loose fable or a fairy tale of, 'be careful what you wish for.'"

This beautiful, fairy tale-based album has fourteen beautifully constructed songs on it. It comes from her heart, a culmination of her life in music.

In an interview with Apple Music, she shared:

"What's nice about it is I feel like I managed to take everything that I learned in the last fifteen years and consolodate it into this record, into this art, into the videos, so it does feel like if I were to take a break afterwords, I would be happy with how I left things."

This is not the first time that the artist has discussed the potential for a break from the music - that's exactly what she said last time.

For now, we are going to go revel in this new album.
