Amy Adams is set to star in a new Hulu film titled Nightbitch.

I don't think this is Enchanted anymore. Amy Adams is one of the most charmingly captivating actors to ever perform on our screens, from her time on The Office to her most recent appearance in the film adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen. Now, the time-tested artist is taking on a new and excitingly twisted role in the upcoming film Nightbitch.

Nightbitch is a new film coming to Hulu - a captivating comedic neo-horror thriller, led by Adams. The film follows the journey of a woman who sincerely believes that she is turning into a dog.

The official logline explains that Adams is, "thrown into the stay-at-home routine of raising a toddler in the suburbs, who slowly embraces the feral power deeply rooted in motherhood, as she becomes increasingly aware of the bizarre and undeniable signs that she may be turning into a canine."

The film will be written and directed by the incredible Marielle Heller, known for her work on the incredibly memorable Can You Ever Forgive Me. She is adapting the script from Rachel Yoder's book of the same title.

We feel confident that Heller will do the adaptation justice, due to her true obsession with the original work. According to Variety, she shared:

"Rachel Yoder's book took my breath away...I haven't felt this way about a book since I read 'The Diary of a Teenage Girl' many years ago. Rachel's darkly hilarious tale of motherhood and rage made me feel seen. And adapting it with Amy Adams in mind has been the thing that has kept me going through the pandemic."

We can't wait to see Nightbitch, whenever it hits the screen.
