Gwyneth Paltrow and Kourtney Kardashian's net worth became hot topics after reports about Poosh copying Goop emerged.

It all started when fans asked Paltrow during an Instagram Q&A on Friday. One asked her whether she feels upset that Poosh copied her and her brand, Goop. The actress launched the lifestyle brand and company in 2008, while Kardashian introduced Poosh in 2019.

The "Shakespeare in Love" actress dismissed the claims and defended the reality star instead.

According to Paltrow, women do not need to be in a competition, adding that woman has the chance to fulfill her dreams.

"I used to fall prey to this kind of thinking years ago, so I understand where it comes from. Now I get so happy when I see new wellness businesses there is a place for all of us," she said, as quoted by Yahoo! Life.

She also showered the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star with compliments, calling her a good person.

Although Paltrow supported Kardashian, queries about the difference in their net worth still emerged.

Although Kardashian is part of the Kardashian - Jenner clan and is the sister of one current billionaire (Kim Kardashian) and a former one (Kylie Jenner), her net worth is less than half of what the actress has.

In comparison, Travis Barker's wife only has an estimated $65 million. Paltrow, meanwhile, has a net worth of $200 million.

For Kardashian's part, she earns a salary of $10 million, and a major part of her net worth comes from the advertising on her company's website.

She ranks fifth in the clan, following Kim, Kylie, Kris Jenner, and Caitlyn Jenner.

Paltrow, on the other hand, gets most of her earnings from acting and singing. In the past years, she starred in several award-winning films, including the "View From The Top," "The Talented Mr. Ripley," "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow," and the "Iron Man" franchise.

These flicks also helped her gain several accolades locally and internationally, like the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture.

Her Goop, meanwhile, notably raised $50 million in Series C funding at a valuation of $250 million. From being a newsletter, the company grew into e-commerce. It then became Goop Wellness in 2017 after their products saw a quadrupled sales revenue that year.

The actress also has a whopping real estate net worth, having several impressive homes in Los Angeles, London, and New York City.
