Kate Moss Testifying in Johnny Depp Defamation Trial – Potential Questions Revealed

Kate Moss will testify in Johnny Depp's defamation trial against Amber Heard.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor and the supermodel dated for four years before splitting up in 1997.

According to the New York Post, Moss will be called by the 58-year-old actor's team on Wednesday but will only testify remotely.

Earlier last month, the "Aquaman" actress took the stand. She mentioned the supermodel when remembering a time when the "Edward Scissorhands" actor allegedly swung at her sister Whitney, a connection that his lawyer seemed to enjoy.

During her testimony, Heard stated that her sister was near a stairway attempting to convince her then-husband to stop fighting.

She then compared it to an alleged incident involving Moss and Depp.

The "Rum Diaries" star also told the Virginia court that she tossed a can of Red Bull at Depp, which hit him in the back before he grew enraged and went up the stairs towards her.

Heard said that her sister attempted to intercede and put distance between the two, telling the court, "Whitney's back was to the stairs, and Johnny swings at her." I don't hesitate or wait - I just think about Kate Moss and stairs in my brain."

Kate Moss, on the other hand, has never alleged that Johnny Depp mistreated her throughout their relationship. She did, however, admit that she cried for years after they split up.

"There's nobody who's ever truly been able to take care of me," the fashion star stated in a 2012 interview with Vanity Fair.

"Johnny did it for a while. I trusted what he stated. If I asked him, 'What do I do?' he'd tell me. That's what I was missing when I left. I lost sight of someone I could rely on."

What Will Kate Moss Face in Court?

According to legal experts who spoke with the outlet, Amber Heard naming Kate Moss on the stand might provide Johnny Depp's legal team with an opportunity to debunk rumors that he pushed her down the stairs.

According to lawyer Mitra Ahouraian, Heard made a mistake by mentioning her, allowing Moss to testify as an impeachment witness.

The British legend was not intended to testify at first since the purported staircase incident had nothing to do with an accusation in this case. Still, her comment prepared the path for them to question her about what transpired that night in 1994, when it was suspected Depp wrecked his New York hotel room and was perhaps intoxicated while his girlfriend was unharmed.
