Royal fans have long been curious about who in the British royal family infamously questioned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's child's skin tone when the latter was pregnant.

During the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's shocking interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year, Meghan said that a senior member of the royal family had worries about Archie Harrison's skin color.

She mentioned a chat the Duke of Sussex had concerning her son's skin tone, to which the media personality responded, "Who is having that conversation with you?"

The former "Suits" actress declined to reveal who it was with, claiming that doing so would be "damaging" to the royal family member.

"That was given to me by Harry, that was family chats with him," she continued.

However, it seems like it was Camilla Parker Bowles apparently uttered something damning and racist.

According to a new book titled "Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors," the Duchess of Cornwall allegedly informed Prince Harry that it would be hilarious if his expectant mixed-race child grew up with "ginger Afro hair."

"The Sussexes' frightening condemnation of the entire royal family was spurred by their assumption that the Duchess of Cornwall had made racist comments about [their then-unborn baby] Archie," the book stated, per Page Six.

In the book, author Tom Bower claims that Prince Charles' wife mentioned his relationship with Meghan Markle during a chat with the Duke of Sussex and his family.

"Harry saw Charles and Camilla at Clarence House during those weeks." The talk, according to Harry's interpretation, varied between serious and funny and covered three issues."

The first was when Prince Harry was informed that Meghan should pursue her acting career, according to the book.

The second was that Scotland Yard could not be expected to pay for the former actress' 24-hour security.

The last, according to Prince Harry, it was Duchess Camilla's discriminatory remarks regarding her hair.

Despite the fact that the Duke of Sussex apparently "laughed" at the statement, the author said that "subsequently, Meghan's reaction to that talk converted Harry's amusement into rage."

However, it is uncertain if the comment addressed in the 2021 Oprah interview was made by Camilla Parker Bowles.

However, according to another book, it was Prince Charles who questioned the complexion of their newborn child at the time.

Per the book"Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan," the future King was the anonymous royal who purportedly inquired about Archie's skin hue following his birth.
