Amy Grant is getting better each day, says husband Vince Gill.

Previously, singer-songwriter Grant encountered an accident, the news announced by his husband using her Twitter account which reads:" Earlier this week, Amy was in an accident after hitting a pothole while riding her bike with a friend (she was wearing a helmet)..."

He also said in his post that his wife, Grant was hospitalized to receive proper treatment with the injuries he got and was released after but still in recovery stage.

Because of the incident, the supposed shows in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Johnson City at Wilmington were postponed and Gil, who also had three shows at the time, canceled it just to take care of his wife at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Meanwhile, according to Gill, Grant is getting better now after the incident last July, he said that his wife has a "concussion and has needed a lot of down time and peace and quiet to recover."

As he gives updates  with the situation of his wife, he said that "she gets stronger and more alert and energetic" adding that he is happy with the development of his wife.

In Ryman auditorium last Saturday, Gill brought his daughter, Corinna on stage as they performed the song he wrote for his wife which entitled: "When My Amy Prays."

Before they perform, Gill said that they will sing a song that she wrote for his wife because he thinks that it would be sweet if they do it together for Amy.

In the middle of the song, Corinna made the lyrics more personal to her as she changed the line with "When my mama prays."

With everything that is happening to Amy right now which results in canceling their shows for a while, Gill hopes that one day his wife will be able to go back to their shows.

The "bike" accident comes 2 years after Grant had a heart surgery in Nashville to  fix her congenital disability which report says that she is diagnosed of having a partial anomalous pulmonary venous return or PAPVR,  a rare condition he just found after she went to a medical institution for check-up.
