As they say, no fairy tale is complete without its own villain. "Criminal" singer Britney Spears' wedding was proven to have been trespassed by ex-husband Jason Alexander in recent court ruling.

It's widely known that Britney Spears and Sam Asghari held their wedding in June with a star-studded guest list, but the pair did not expect to have a surprise guest. Britney's ex-husband, whom she was married to for only 55-hours in 2004, had reportedly appeared uninvited at Spears' house in California before the ceremony.

According to testimony at the preliminary hearing, Alexander had made it to the second story of the actress' home and inside the wedding tent, all while livestreaming on Instagram.

In his live footage, the intruder had spoken with event security and tried to convince them that he was invited to the wedding. After some resistance and threats from Alexander, a physical altercation ensued, even damaging a door before Ventura County Sheriff's Department responded to the trespassing call at Spears' house.

Page Six reports that Alexander had "pleaded no contest to the two misdemeanor counts" in a California court. The Ventura County judge sentenced him to 128 days in jail with charges of felony stalking and misdemeanor vandalism.

While the pop star had testified that she saw no evidence that Alexander planned to cause her harm, a judge issued a protective order to discourage Alexander from getting 100 yards of Spears or her security guard, Richard Eubeler.

Oops, He Did It Again

Unfortunately for Britney Spears' ex-husband, this isn't the first time he has faced with criminal charges.

In January 2021, Alexander was arrested on three misdemeanor charges: driving under the influence, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession or casual exchange of a controlled substance. On the same year, the 40-year-old returned to court on September for allegedly trespassing into a "non-secure" area of an airport and attempting to skip the line.

Did He Do It Out of Love?

While their 55-hour marriage is long behind the pair, Alexander still appears to care about the 40-year-old singer, as he was spotted at a "Free Britney" protest in the summer of 2020. The event was staged to fight against Britney's father's abusive control over her finances.

"She's really been a prisoner," Alexander told Newsweek. "She's been playing along with the script, but kind of waiting it out."

As of now, neither Spears or Alexander's attorneys have commented on the recent court ruling.
