Oprah Winfrey recently shared the health issue she went through last year.

After keeping it since 2021, Winfrey finally disclosed that she received two knee surgeries that are now pushing her to stay active.

During her "Oprah's "The Life You Want" class and seminar, the famed talk show host asked the attendees to write what they were grateful for. One of the responses caught her attention as it was similar to what she went through.

According to the attendee, she felt grateful for every organ and limb she has. The TV personality then finally revealed the details of the secret double knee surgeries she went through.

"When I came home the first time, I literally could not lift my leg. I couldn't lift my heel off the bed and I vowed, if I was ever able to get up, walk around and move again, that I would take advantage of movement, exercise, and being able to be full in my body," she said, as quoted by HollywoodLife.

The 68-year-old had her first knee surgery in August before undergoing another procedure in November.

Oprah Winfrey Inspires Fans

Aside from her life-changing surgeries, Winfrey also inspired everyone by sharing the greatest lesson she learned from her talk show.

During Variety's Power of Women dinner, the talk show host shared a heartfelt speech after receiving an honor at the event alongside Ava DuVernay. According to her, the lesson she learned while doing "The Oprah Winfrey Show" is that people "are all looking for the same thing."

She said that people all want to know that everyone matters while showing everything that reflects the values, saying that they highlighted the power of women by getting all-woman directors for their "Queen Sugar" mandate.

She dropped another powerful message during her discussion with DuVernay in their Power of Women cover story.

As reported by Forbes, Winfrey also spoke about how coaching helped her reach the place she is standing now.

"Coaching helps you stop the crazy mind chatter in your head that tells you all the time that you're not good enough," she said.

With all her hard work, she is now the most recognizable and highly respected black female personality in the industry.
