Netflix's hit Internet series, House of Cards, continues to draw interest on a massive scale, as it continues to gear up for its highly anticipated second season, which will include downtown Baltimore in MD as one of its locations.

Moving forward in the creative process, Towson will get to grace the computer screens,as the cast and crew filmed at the historic courthouse of Baltimore County.

The sets being used for the Internet series at the respective location included the library, offices and council's chambers. To top it off, the program's cast and crew got to replace the various employees of those areas for the show, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Just outside the infamous courthouse, both trailers and trucks filled Chesapeake and Pennsylvania Avenues, as spectators glanced with curiously during their lunch.

As the filming of HoC took place, a security team guarded the trailers of the cast while some of the crew members sat in the rear of their production trucks.

Although no launch date has officially been announced, Netflix's House of Cards is slated to kick off its second season on the web at some point in early 2014. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest information.
