Britney Spears has confirmed her fans' "suspicion that something's going on" with her, hinting at the complexities of her life.

On Wednesday, the pop icon posted on Instagram a clip from "Beauty and the Beast," in which the narrator explains how Prince Adam was transformed into the beast, along with a message about her struggles during a particularly challenging period.

In the now-deleted post, Spears began by referencing her best-selling memoir, "The Woman in Me," stating that she started writing it two years ago.

"In those moments in my personal life, I kept to myself!!!" she wrote, according to the New York Post.

In her Instagram confession, Spears alluded to a tumultuous period that lasted for three years, stating, "Not only was my personal life kept secret, but it felt equivalent to 20 years of hard times that I wrote about in my book!!!"

"Can you imagine a 2007 that lasted for three years that nobody even knows about??? It's over now, and I'm incredibly sad about those times!!!" she added, without spilling further details.

Spears infamously shaved her head in 2007, a year before she was placed under a conservatorship that would last over 13 years.

She has since spoken out against the conservatorship, alleging mistreatment by her father, Jamie Spears.

Acknowledging the support of her fans, who initiated the "Free Britney" movement, Spears expressed gratitude, stating, "It's weird cause [sic] although I do Instagram, I don't follow social media, the news, and the fan chatter!!! I've been doing that this week, and it's weird cause [sic] it feels like a lot of fans already kind of know me, and they [sic] way they speak is incredibly kind."

"They always [had] a suspicion that something's going on!!!! Well, guess what Britney nerds ... you were [100%] right!!!" she added.

US singer Britney Spears arrives for the premiere of Sony Pictures' "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood" at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California on July 22, 2019.

Despite the acknowledgment, Spears did not delve into the specifics of the situation, emphasizing its complexity and stating, "I don't have time to speak about any of it cause [sic] at this particular moment it's beyond comprehension!!!"

The singer concluded her Instagram post by sharing a clip from her favorite movie, the animated classic "Beauty and the Beast."

Spears used the film's themes to express herself, saying, "Looks are deceiving." She also referenced what she called the "seductress poison" and how beauty was "the secret to steal a man's heart."

Spears' social media activity has been closely scrutinized by fans and the media, with concerns for her well-being escalating.

In September, she posted a video of herself dancing with knives. Though she clarified that they were fake knives, the post raised eyebrows among fans.

On Wednesday, she also shared a post on Instagram describing her brother, Bryan, as "a dad and my best friend" amid a continued feud with other family members over her terminated conservatorship.
