Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer as touchy-feely as before, according to a body language expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex couldn't keep their hands off each other when they started dating. They often held hands and touched each other's backs, even during royal engagements. However, their public display of affection has reportedly reduced.

Darren Stanton, a body language and behavioral expert who has been featured in the BBC, Mail Online, Sky News, ITV, and Daily Express, weighed in on the Sussexes' PDA. He analyzed the royal couple's gestures through the years and said they are not as tactile as before as their "relationship has evolved."

"Harry and Megan's relationship has evolved. When looking at their body language, their public displays of affection have changed drastically over the years," he said, Hello! reported.

"When they started dating and became more established as an official couple, they were very affectionate in public, almost more affectionate than William and Kate," he added.

Stanton felt that Markle and Prince Harry toned down their PDA. Despite that, they still have respect for each other.

"I feel that they have toned it down a bit in recent times. I have seen their engaged eye contact has decreased, and they aren't as tactile with one another. While they do love each other, and they will do anything to support one another, we tend not to see them being as openly passionate," the expert noted.

"Despite this, the pair clearly have huge levels of respect for each other, and are there for each other through everything."

Meanwhile, the Montecito-based royal couple had a rough year in 2023. Rafe Heydel-Mankoo, historian, broadcaster and award-winning commentator, claimed that last year was the Sussexes' "annus horribilis," and Prince Harry was allegedly to blame.

"It's primarily Prince Harry, I think that's made a disastrous year for the Montecito duo," he said on GB News.

"Topping and tailing, of course, the year with two disastrous books. 'Spare,' as you said, made them into a laughing stock globally, which gave 'South Park' the worldwide privacy tour, and we saw them being mocked by 'Family Guy' in every late-night talk show and, of course, ending the year with 'Endgame' written by Omid Scobie," the royal commentator added.

Astrologer Susan Miller, founder of Astrology Zone, previously shared her prediction for Prince Harry and Markle. According to her, his marriage and business will be tested this year. Debbie Frank, renowned media and celebrity astrologer, added that he could face a mid-life crisis and question the direction of his life.
