LeBron James, SZA, And The Weeknd React To Drake And Rick Ross' Diss Tracks

Following Drake's swift release of a reported diss track targeting several figures in the rap community, Rick Ross retaliated by dropping his own track within hours.

Drake stirred controversy with the alleged leak of his diss track, "Push Ups," targeting Kendrick Lamar and other rap figures.

Initial skepticism surrounded the track's authenticity, with some speculating it might be AI-generated. The leaked version sampled Junior M.A.F.I.A.'s 1995 hit, "Get Money."

A subsequent version of the diss surfaced shortly after, featuring altered production and tweaked lyrics. Although no official confirmation came from Drake or his team, the rapper posted a suggestive image on Instagram, depicting Uma Thurman in a scene from "Kill Bill" brandishing a sword amidst a bevy of adversaries.

Thurman, 53, even offered the yellow leather pantsuit she wore in the scene, sharing a picture of the costume and asking, "Need this? @champagnepapi."

The Toronto native quickly responded, "Yes pls. The pen is the Hattori Hanzo."

Ross, 48, fired back at the 5-time Grammy Award winner with his own diss track, "Champagne Moments," released within hours of Drake's "Push Ups."

Inevitably, the hip-hop community reacted to and assessed each diss track, with a considerable number expressing appreciation for both offerings.

One notable figure among the responders was LeBron James, who took to X mere hours after Drake's response surfaced on Saturday to share his thoughts.

Trae Young, a guard for the Atlanta Hawks, expressed his anticipation for the game ahead by stating on X, "I'm listening to nothing but diss records before the game tomorrow."

The Weeknd also seemingly acknowledged "Push Ups" on social media. The singer, who also hails from Canada like Drake, shared a photo of himself enjoying popcorn with a laugh.

In "Push Ups," Drake, 37, mentioned The Weeknd by his real name, accompanied by the lines, "Cash blowin' Abel bread out here trickin'/ S**t we do for b*****s he doing for n****s."

SZA — who has collaborated with Drake and is one of his rumored exes — also responded to "Push Ups" after she was mentioned in the song. The "Hotling Bling" emcee rapped: "Pipsqueak, pipe down/ You ain't in no Big 3, SZA got you wiped down/ Travis got you wiped down/ Savage got you wiped down."

Attempting to distance herself from the situation, the "SOS" singer shared a clip on her Instagram Story featuring a viral clip of NeNe Leakes questioning, "Now why am I in it?"
