Ray J's bizarre new face tattoos sparked backlash from not only social media users but also his sister, Brandy.

The 43-year-old singer, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., revealed his older sister Brandy's reaction to his face ink after he debuted them on social media earlier this month.

Taking to Instagram Live Wednesday, Ray J said Brandy immediately reached out to him to express her disapproval of his post.

"My sister hit me and said, 'Yo, that post that you posted, take that s**t down,'" Ray J admitted. "She said I didn't look clean, I looked dirty. My mouth was chapped, I got white s**t coming all out my mouth."

He added, "My sister is mad at me because she doesn't want my face tattoos. She doesn't want me to come online irresponsibly. And that's why I love her."

Ray J, who was recently romantically linked to Sukihana, first revealed his new collection of face tattoos during a live stream earlier this month.

The ink included a line of stars, the names of his two children with estranged wife Princess Love -- daughter Melody, 5, and son Epik, 4 -- as well as the logo of his Tronix TV network.

Ray J's post has since been taken down, but the video was shared by other users on YouTube.

After facing backlash due to his new ink, Ray J later admitted during another Instagram Live that the tattoos were temporary.

During the live stream, which was captured and reposted by LiveBitez, the singer-songwriter confessed that the tattoos were just henna and "already starting to rub off."

Explaining why they looked pigmented and real, Ray J claimed he had them done once and then later got a touch-up.

"I just got to wait y'all," he told fans.

Ray J's face tattoos had sparked concern from loved ones and the public, with the rapper later revealing that even doctors were worried about his mental health.

"Everybody [is] tripping," Ray J said on Instagram Live Monday, according to HotNewHipHop. "I had a few doctors call me and DM me. Thank you, I appreciate the love because if you [are] worried about me, then please let me know. If I'm falling by the wayside, If I'm going left, help me go right. I'm [going to] listen. Straight up."

However, Ray J then claimed that his face ink was unfinished and that he planned to add more art.

In another video, he said he got the tattoos on his face to make himself look "look real unattractive."

Ray J explained that he does not plan on appearing in any more movies or TV series and wants to focus on behind-the-scenes work.

"It's all in for me now," he said. "I did this on purpose."

Ray J reiterated in his Wednesday live stream that the ink was not an indication that he is going through a crisis.

"I appreciate y'all support for praying, but it ain't like that. I'm never going to audition for s**t ever again," he said. "Why would I audition for a movie when I could just shoot my movie and put it up and make money?"
