Justin Bieber's crying selfies on Instagram over the weekend alarmed his fans.

The "Baby" hitmaker shared a series of photo dumps on Sunday. In one post, some shots appeared to be taken when Justin made a surprise appearance at Coachella. He performed during Tems' set at the music festival. In another post, he can be seen playing golf, enjoying the beach, smoking and trying on different sneakers.

However, what caught the most attention was the two photos where Justin appeared emotional and in tears. Justin didn't include a caption for the post, leaving fans to speculate what really happened, and many expressed their concern for the artist in the comments section.

"[W]hy [you] crying tho," one asked.

Another wrote, "Are you okay, bro?"

"Plzz tell me why were [you] crying. I'm dyyyiiinnggg to know!!" a third person asked.

"I hope you are doing okay, I hate to see tears running down your face," a different commenter wrote with a broken heart emoji.

"Justin, we are here for you brother," another user wrote with praying hands emoji.

One user praised Justin for his bravery in showing off his vulnerable side.

"I love that you're not afraid to show your vulnerability and emotions. It's always great to remember that behind every single celebrities [sic], there's still a human being. YOU ARE LOVED," the user wrote.

Meanwhile, Justin's wife, Hailey Bieber, seemingly dismissed the speculations about why Justin cried. The Rhode founder commented on his post, "A pretty crier," along with a smiling face with a tear emoji.

Justin's post came on the heels of a report claiming that his friends were worried he was spiraling again due to his "erratic" behavior at Coachella. Justin surprised fans when he appeared on stage and joined Tems' set because he was reportedly noticeably thin and was "still fragile and seemed checked-out all weekend."

"He finally got his health back, but now friends are worried that he's spiraling again," an unnamed insider told In Touch. "He has severe ups and downs."

Despite that, many were happy seeing Justin perform on stage again. In June 2022, the singer announced that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which left his face partially paralyzed. His condition prompted him to cancel his world tour.

"He looked like he just stepped out of the audience," a witness said of the singer. "It's a good sign he felt comfortable enough to get on stage, and a lot of fans are hoping this means he'll be making his music comeback soon."

Justin struggled with depression, anger management and Lyme disease. He also admitted to using alcohol, marijuana and "pretty heavy drugs" at his lowest points, In Touch noted.
