'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Kyle Richards' daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, was recently hit by some burglars who, unfortunately, made away with nearly a fortune.

TMZ reported that the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is investigating the break-in that took place at Aldjufrie's home last Tuesday, where thieves made off with nearly $1 million in luxury items.

Per the report, the robbers grabbed both sentimental and high-end jewelry, watches, designer luggage, Hermes bags, and other costly goods.

The report also indicated that Aldjufrie, 35, was not a target. Law enforcement suspect the suspects may be a South American burglary gang.

Sources close to the media outlet claimed some of the jewelry stolen was passed down from her stepfather, Mauricio Umansky's side of the family. Milestone gifts were also taken, such as college graduation gifts and 21st birthday presents.

She was not on the premises during the time of the break-in, which according to reports, took place in broad daylight. Reports say the thieves were able to force a door open and also cut off the wifi.

In March, the 'New York Post' reported the repeated crimes of what law enforcement are calling "burglary tourists." They include a team of thieves who fly in from South America for the sole purpose of burglarizing mansions in L.A.

Officials at the Los Angeles Police Department allege that burglars targeting wealthy homes come from Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru, and are responsible for 94 burglaries in just one section of the city stemming back to 2023.

The groups typically do not carry guns; however, are often equipped with digital devices that allow access to the home's wifi system, allowing them to potentially crack security codes, entrances, and other digital forms of security.
