To the excitement of its loyalists, CBS' How I Met Your Mother is now under a month away from its ninth and final installment, as the very first photos of the season premiere have now surfaced online

Judging by the images, Marshall (Jason Segel) appears to be having a hard time dealing with fellow passenger Daphne (Sherri Shepherd), who will be a recurring character.

Executive producer Craig Thomas had praised Shepherd for her work on the upcoming season, according to CBS.

"She's hilareous and delightful and perfect for this part - we couldn't be more thrilled," he said.

The premiere episode, titled The Locket, is said to feature the likes of Ted (Josh Radnor) admitting that he found Robin's Something Old locket, which will again bring up whether there are still feelings between the two that need a resolution, according to Screen Crush.

In other HIMYM news, The Office's Ellie Kemper has also been attached to don the role of Cassie. Thomas told TVLine that the character will be at the wedding as "one of the most attractive, available, and -- as Ted discovers -- unfortunate guests at Barney and Robin's wedding."
