Kerry Washington's stunning gown at the 2013 Emmy Awards Sunday night has fueled many rumors that she is pregnant with her first child. 

The Scandal actress who lost for best actress in a drama turned heads last night in a cream-and-white Marchesa gown. The detailed dress was designed with a hint of gold lace and flower appliques. 

Though she posed for photos on the red carpet, reports indicated that she zoomed passed the Nokia Theater L.A. Live red carpet after only posing for a few pictures at the beginning of the media line. 

Washington's stomach looked slightly bigger than normal, but the straps to the dress in the front seemed to have concealed the reported baby bump down. 

Speaking about the Marchesa gown to USA Today on the Emmy's red carpet, Washington said she looking at the dress was love at first sight. 

"The moment I saw it on the runway, I said, 'Send it to me,'" she said. 

Washington was accompanied by her mother and dad, and not her new husband Nnamdi Asomugha. However, her wedding ring was on full display. 

The 36-year-old actress wed Asomugha on June 24.

Enstars reported back in July, Washington took and break from social media and  returned to Twitter one day before the news broke of her secret marriage to the San Francisco 49ers player.

"Twitter hiatus was important and good," she tweeted July 16. "But I love being back here with you guys. #BestFansEver XOXOXOXOXOXO."

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly after being nominated for two Emmy nominations, Washington said she was humble and honored for the recognition for her role as 'Olivia Pope' in Scandal.

"I feel really excited and proud to live in a world where a show that embodies so much diversity on so many levels - because our show is so diverse with regard to race and ethnicity and gender and sexual orientation - that a show that really celebrates inclusivity is able to be such a success both in the U.S. and overseas," she said.
