Kerry Washington has yet to speak about her recent secret marriage to NFL star Nnamdi Asomugha, but she was spotted flaunting her wedding ring on the set of 'Scandal' Season 3.

On Thursday, while on set for the show's first table read for the upcoming season, Washington smiled for a picture with cast members Columbus Short, Darcy Stanchfield, Guillermo Diaz and Joshua Malina. Washington looked gorgeous in a green blouse and blue jeans, and posed with her left hand on her right arm, showcasing her new wedding ring.

Washington returned to Twitter Tuesday after a brief hiatus that began July 2 one day before the news broke of her secret marriage to the San Francisco 49ers player.

"Twitter hiatus was important and good," she tweeted July 16. "But I love being back here with you guys. #BestFansEver XOXOXOXOXOXO"

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly after being nominated for two Emmy nominations, Washington said she is humble and honored for the recognition for her role as 'Olivia Pope' in Scandal.

"I feel really excited and proud to live in a world where a show that embodies so much diversity on so many levels - because our show is so diverse with regard to race and ethnicity and gender and sexual orientation - that a show that really celebrates inclusivity is able to be such a success both in the U.S. and overseas," she said.

As far how she found out that she was nominated, the actress said that she was in the airport when she received a phone call from her publicist.

"My hands were full, and it was really nice to be so distracted. And then my phone rang and I saw that it was my publicist/friend Michelle, and I was like, 'Oh, oh, yeah. Whoa. I wonder what she's calling to say,' she said.

When asked to comment about her recent marriage, Washington didn't give much information.

"I thank you for your congratulations, and that is where that conversation will end," she said.
