Every time a new tidbit manages to slip out of the Doctor Who cone of silence, Whovians find themselves with even more questions.

On the upside, fans trying to make sense of the events that will lead to the Eleventh Doctor's (Matt Smith) Christmas time regeneration now have a new piece to add to the puzzle. However, blurry photos of call sheets provide more spoilers for viewers than the show's management ever will. Showrunner Steven Moffat recently posed even more questions regarding the upcoming 50th Anniversary Special as well as the Christmas outing.

John Hurt to Play Dark Doctor for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special?

"[W]hat about the endless, bitter war Kovarian was on about? And what's Trenzalore? And the oldest question in the universe? And what exactly do they mean, silence will fall? Anyway, I'm off to a readthrough...," Moffat said, according to Nerd Bastards.

Not that fans weren't already asking themselves these very question already, but Moffat specifically pointing them out means they probably don't have answers anyone can easily figure out.

Doctor Who returns with the 50 th Anniversary Special on Nov. 23.
