New reports are claiming that the Nexus 5 will be released in October and many are making the assumption that the next generation Nexus 10 will be released at the same time. Asus may be the designer of the new tablet instead of Samsung, which designed the original Nexus 10.

There was a recent leak from PC World UK that the new tablet being called the Google Asus Nexus 10. The company has the tablet priced at £349, which equates to about $563. It is not clear if the product price is for the 16GB or the 32GB tablet.

Little is known about the new Nexus 10 2. Google is expected to hold a conference in mid-October to unveil the new Nexus 5 smartphone, so information may be released at that time.

The only "expected" features known at this time are a high resolution display - at least 2560 x 1600 - 2GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 800 processor, according to AndroidAuthority.com. The website also reported that the new tablet may run on Android 4.4 KitKat, the latest Android software.
