No. 3 ranked Clemson will travel to the Carrier Dome for the first time to take on Syracuse University, Saturday at 3:30 pm.

The Orange will also play its first conference game as an ACC member since making the switch from the Big East last season. The Tigers are the highest-ranked team to visit Syracuse since top-seeded Miami came to town back in 2002.

A tough challenge is ahead for the Orange, but they also have a the history of getting clutch wins in upset games. Though Syracuse has not beaten a team ranked this high since upsetting No. 1 Nebraska, 17-9 in 1984, they have beaten a ranked team in four consecutive teams.

But Clemson coach Dabo Swiney is well aware that this game won't be a walk in the park but said he was going to change the team's typical brief-walk though when they arrived in New York Saturday.

Clemson is looking forward for its second 5-0 game-winning streak in the last three years and Swinney expects for the game to be usual for his team.

"I think our guys will be excited about it because it's a new place," Swinney said. "I've never been there."

"We've got one under our belt on the road where we played OK," Swinney said. "Hopefully, we can play a little better this time."

"Hey, we ask for solid orange," Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd said, referring to a school slogan. "We're going to get it when we get up there."
