Game of Thrones fans should expect the upcoming fourth season to contain material from more than one novel in the Song of Ice and Fire book series by George R. R. Martin.

Season 3 featured the adaptation of roughly the first half of A Storm of Swords, the third novel in the series. While most assumed that season 4 would feature the adaptation of the latter half of the book, casting information has revealed that the season may feature storylines from book 4, A Feast of Crows, and even book 5, A Dance With Dragons.

The character Anya Waynwood (Paola Dionisotti) is introduced in A Feast of Crows but will be appearing on the upcoming fourth season of the TV series. Anya is one of the residents of the Vale, the place Littlefinger (Aiden Gillen) went in season 3 to seduce Lysa.

Season 4 will also feature the introduction of Hizdahr zo Loraq (Joel Frey), a noble in the city of Mereen. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) conquers Mereen and declares herself Queen of the city and ultimately enters into a relationship with Hizdahr in A Dance With Dragons.

Wetpaint is reporting that there may even be acceleration in Arya's (Maisie Williams) storyline, considering most of her book 3 plot was accomplished in season 3.
