The preview trailer for the second episode of Scandal season 3 reveals drama continues at both the White House and DC-based Pope & Associates.

In the teaser for the episode titled, Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?, Kerry Washington's Olivia Pope is seen on the phone defending herself to client Janine Locke.

"I absolutely, positively did not have sex with the president," she defends.

Here are additional spoilers to expect in episode 2 based on the sneak peep below.

The promo takes on a more dark turn when Pope tells someone on the phone that she is "going for blood."

The clip quickly cuts to the president ordering a serious command. Fitz tells someone on his phone to "go for the jugular."

Pope's client Locke says, "Someone in the white house must have got to her." The teaser does not suggest if she is referring to Pope or Mellie, the first lady.

The promo ends with Cyrus, the White House Chief of Staff telling Mellie that she is evil.

"You're welcome," she calmly replies.

The fist lady's remark leaves fans to ask what is she is up to now that the president confirmed he leaked his affair with Pope to the media himself in the premiere episode which aired last week.

Guest stars on Thursday's show includes Kate Burton as Vice President Sally Langston, Norm Lewis as Senator Edison Davis, Brian Letscher as Tom, Steven W. Bailey as Coroner Noah Elliot, Samantha Sloyan as Jeanine Locke, Sharmila Devar as Lauren and Joe Morton as Rowan. Pope's father.
