Actress and author Soleil Moon Frye revealed the sex of her third child Wednesday, Los Angeles Times reported.

While guest co-hosting The View, the 37-year-old, most known for her role as Punky Brewster in the show of the same name, announced she's having a baby boy. She dropped the news by giving her fellow co-host Jenny McCarthy a box with the gender of the baby inside.

"I think we know the doctor says that this is the sex, so I have my baby's sex in a box. So this is how we find out, we think we know. I'm in a little bit of denial," she said.

McCarthy then opened the box that revealed a pair of blue baby slippers inside.

Frye added, "I can't believe it. But the thing is I can't imagine a penis growing inside of me, so I keep saying, 'I think we know...but I'm not sure."

This is the first boy and third child for the author of Let's Get This Party Started. She and her husband Jason Goldberg have two girls: 5-year-old Jagger Joseph Blue and 8-year-old Poet Sienna Rose.

She first revealed her bun in the oven on the Today show on Aug. 15 while promoting her Moonfrye app for kids and new series on OWN, Home Made Simple.

"I have a very big announcement. We have a newest addition to the family here," the child star said at the time while rubbing her belly. "Poet and Jagger are so excited...I'm so excited I can actually touch my bellow now, I've been hiding it for so long."

Frye is 5 1/2 months pregnant.
