Once Upon a Time star Jennifer Morrison recently spoke with TV Guide about her character Emma's intentions with her love interests.

Enstars previously reported about the photos released featuring Emma kissing Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) for the first time. Morrison told TV Guide in a Friday report that Emma is so wrapped up in saving her son Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) that she can't help but kiss Hook after he helps in the search for her young son.

"Hook is the one that's present, and he's the one who's surprising her by following through with what he promises to do, and seems to be doing this very selflessly instead of selfishly," Morrison explained. "She's definitely taken aback by how different he is than what she expected and definitely still thinks that [former boyfriend] Neal's [Michael Raymond-James] dead, but in her mind, all of its irrelevant because she's just trying to get to Henry."

Emma will also be dealing with her complication relationship with Regina (Lana Parrilla) in future episodes while in Neverland. Morrison explained that while Regina has tried to kill Emma and her family, they have to put aside their differences in their mutual interest of saving Henry.

"She's looking to connect with that part of her. Emma really is searching to see the human side of Regina in order to be her partner in getting Henry back," Morrison said.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
